Filing 5
ORDER: On October 4, 2023, the Court declared Lakeshia Edmond a vexatious litigant and ordered her to seek leave of court before filing any further complaints in the Northern District of Texas. See ECF No. 29 , Murry v. Serafino, 4:23-CV-0683-P-BJ. In addition, on July 10, 2024, the Court imposed a $250 sanction against Edmond. See ECF No. 7 , Edmond v. EECU, 4:24-CV-00525-O-BP. On August 30, 2024, the clerk of Court docketed this complaint filed by Edmond, which is convoluted and nonsensical. Because Edmond has not paid the $250 sanction, the Court DIRECTS the clerk of Court to STRIKE Edmonds complaint and close this case. If Edmond wants to file a civil action in this Court, she must first pay the $250 sanction and file a proper motion for leave of Court to file a new complaint. Edmonds application to proceed in forma pauperis is DENIED as moot. See ECF No. #4 . (Ordered by Judge Mark Pittman on 9/4/2024) (sre)
