ORDER: Before the Court is correspondence from Petitioner, Jerry Zucker, which the Court interprets as a motion for clarification of the status of this case. ECF No. #13 . So that the record will be clear, the Court directs the clerk to open a new habeas case, No. 4:26-cv-0709-P, docketing as the petition in that case the petition currently docketed as ECF No. #2 in this case and assigning the new case to the undersigned. Inasmuch as Petitioner says he has briefs in support ready to be filed, the Court STAYS the requirement that a response be filed by July 27, 2026. By June 30, 2026, Petitioner must file his brief in this case (concerning Cause No. 1807960 in the 372nd District Court, Tarrant County, Texas), and in Case No. 4:26-cv-0709-P (concerning Cause No. 1543839 in the 372nd District Court, Tarrant County).
