Estella Villasenor has failed to comply with the court's order, which required her to demonstrate subject-matter jurisdiction over this case. Pursuant to Federal Rule of CivilProcedure 41(b), the Court dismisses Villasenor's claims without prejudice to refiling. The Clerk of Court is directed to terminate this case. January 29, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER: The Court notes that Robert R. Jones, III is not admitted to practice in the Northern District of Texas. Jones is ordered to submit an application for admission pro hac vice should he seek to continue representing Villasenor in this action. The Court further orders that, by 02/11/2021, Villasenor must either obtain local counsel or submit a motion to waive the requirement, specifically detailing availability for hearings and ability to comply with the Court's local rules. January 29, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 4 DEFICIENCY ORDER: Villasenor failed to provide the Clerk with: (1) a copy of the complaint and a completed civil summons form for each defendant to be served; (2) a civil cover sheet; (3) the required filing fee or the appropriate application to proceed without prepayment of fees; and (4) a certificate of interested persons as requested by N.D. Tex. Civ. R.3.2(b)-(e). Villasenor submitted a "Statement of Inability to Afford Payment of Court Costs or an Appeal Bond" with her complaint. The appropriate form, as well as the Local Civil Rules are available on the Court's website. Accordingly, no later than February 18,2021, Villasenor must file an amended complaint that alleges diversity of citizenship, in conformity with 28 u.s.c. 1332, and complies with Local Civil Rule 3.2 and Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 10(a).
