April 14, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 17 ORDER GRANTING MOTIONS TO DISMISS AND MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT : Having reviewed all of the parties' briefs on the two motions to dismiss, the relevant facts, and the applicable law, the Court grants the motions to dismiss defendants Yes Indeed and Pete Chavez. Also before the Court is Ford's motion for summary judgment. Having thoroughly reviewed Ford's and Johnson's briefs regarding the motion, the relevant summary-judgment evidence, and the applicable law, the Court grants Ford's motion for summary judgment. The trial currently set for the three-week civil trial docket beginning on May 9, 2022 is cancelled. A memorandum opinion and order explaining the Court's decision to grant the defendants' motions and closing the case will issue in the near future.
