December 10, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 5 DEFICIENCY SHOW CAUSE ORDER: The Court therefore orders that Petitioner must, within 14 days of the date of this order: file a response accepting or objecting to the Court's intended recharacterization of this case as a civil-rights complaint, and (2) if he agrees to the recharacterization, he must file a complete amended complaint on the required form (previously provided by the Clerk), and pay the remaining $397.00 balance of the filing fee or file an application to proceed in forma pauperis with a certificate of his inmate trust account, 1 and (3) show cause why his case should not be dismissed for want of prosecution under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b) because of his failure to respond to the Court's Order.
