ORDER: Dale Ray Hanson, a state prisoner, filed this handwritten civil-rights complaint under 42 U.S.C. 1983, ostensibly on behalf of another state prisoner, Jason Hickman. Dkt. No. #1 . Neither Hanson nor Hickman signed the complaint. The Court finds that the complaint should be unfiled, and this case should be administratively closed. Unfiling this case will not prejudice Hickman's right to pursue his claims on his own behalf. The Clerk is directed to administratively close this case on the basis of this order. The Clerk is also directed to send a copy of this order to both Hanson and Hickman at the addresses provided in Dkt. No. 1. Additionally, the Court unfiled this complaint rather than dismissing it as frivolous or for failure to state a claim under 28 U.S.C. 1915(e) & 1915A. But the Court now warns Hanson that any future frivolous or baseless lawsuit that he files, whether on behalf of himself or others, will be subject to dismissal under those statutes. It is therefore ORDERED that (1) service of process will be withheld until judicial screening is complete, (2) no motions for appointment of counsel may be filed until the Court has completed the screening process, (3) all discovery in this case is stayed until an answer is filed or until further order, (4) no amendments or supplements may be filed without prior Court approval, and (5) any motion to amend the complaint must be accompanied by a complete proposed amended complaint on the required form. It is further ORDERED that Plaintiff must promptly notify the Court in writing of any change of address.
