ORDER DENYING PRELIMINARY INJUNCTION: Pro se Plaintiff Lyric Terrell moves for a preliminary injunction (PI) based on her claim that Lubbock County Detention Center (LCDC) staff members persist in violating her constitutional rights. Dkt. No. 14. Terrell has consented to proceed before a magistrate judge. Dkt. No. 7. After considering Terrell's pleadings and applicable law, the Court DENIES the motion without prejudice to Terrell's right to request injunctive relief in the future should circumstances change. Because Terrell did not provide notice of the PI to defendants, and because she failed to meet the requisite elements, the Court DENIES Terrell's request for injunctive relief. Dkt. No. 14.
