Burton et al v. BP Products North America, Inc.

Fifteen Texas residents filed a federal lawsuit against defendant BP Products North America for negligence, common law assault and battery, private nuisance and punitive damages over BP's 40-day period of releasing some 53,000 pounds of toxic chemicals into the environment at the BP Texas City Refinery from April 6, 2010 - May 16, 2010, including 17,000 pounds of benzene.
