Filing 11 ORDER: On December 29, 2023, Defendants Noble Drilling (U.S.) LLC and Noble Service Company, LLC (together, "Removing Defendants") removed this case to federal court from County Court of Law No. 2 of Dallas County, Texas, alleging federal question jurisdiction under the Outer Continental Shelf Lands Act ("OCSLA"). Based on the record, the Court will evaluate whether a transfer of this case to the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas is warranted under 1404(a). See 28 U.S.C. 124(b)(2). Before transferring the case sua sponte, the Court will allow the parties an opportunity to be heard on this matter. The parties may each file a brief addressing the transfer of this case to the Southern District of Texas, Houston Division under 1404(a). The parties' respective briefs must be filed within 21 days of the date of this Order and are not to exceed 15 pages in length.
