| Minute Entry for proceedings held before Magistrate Judge Diana Song Quiroga. Initial Pretrial Status Conference held on 03/04/2021. Plaintiff appeared telephonically through counsel Laura Pazin Porter. Defendant appeared through counsel David Alexander. The parties have already exchanged initial disclosures and preliminary discovery. The Court inquired with the parties about whether Defendants' status as a foreign national and foreign corporation based in Mexico, respectively, would delay discovery. Defendant stated that he did not anticipate that cross-border issues would delay discovery. Plaintiff stated that the extended joinder deadline would facilitate her ability to take a deposition of Defendant Marquez's corporate representatives, which would ensure that Plaintiff filed suit against all necessary parties. The Court reviewed the deadlines in the parties proposed scheduling order with the parties. The parties agree as to the proposed deadlines. Plaintiff inquired about whether the Court accepted certain medical records and the Court instructed Plaintiff to confer with Defendant.
