Defendants HR Risk Management Solutions, Inc., CSI PEO, Inc., HR Risk of Texas, Inc., PEO Risk Management, Inc., CSI HR America, Back Office Brains, Inc., HR Back Office Management, Inc., Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and third party Defendant Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc., appeared before the Court for an initial pretrial conference. The parties apprised the Court that much of the case has been settled. In light of this information, the Court denied the motion for abatement but granted a continuance of the initial pretrial conference in order to provide the parties additional time to work out a settlement. The Court then reset the parties for a status conference for June 21, 2016 at 9 a.m. The Court noted that if it appeared the case would not be settled, the parties must give the Court notice at least five days before the status conference.
