Filing 9 Text Order GRANTING #7 Plaintiff's Motion to Extend Time to Respond to #4 Motion to Transfer Venue. For good cause shown, the Court extends the response time to fourteen days after the Court issues a ruling on an anticipated motion to remand. Plaintiff indicates that he intends to file a motion to remand on or before April 13, 2022. The Court agrees that it should first resolve the jurisdictional issues raised in such motion before addressing the motion to transfer. Although Defendant has indicated that it opposes an extension beyond April 25, 2022, the Court finds no reason to wait for that official opposition given the jurisdictional issues to be raised in the motion to remand. But as agreed to by Plaintiff, Defendant shall have until May 6, 2022, to respond to the anticipated motion to remand. Entered by Judge Jason K. Pulliam. (This is a text-only entry generated by the court. There is no document associated with this entry.) (rw) |
