MEMORANDUM ORDER (Directing Clerk to Open a New Action)Petitioner, a Virginia state prisoner proceeding pro se, submitted a petition under 28 U.S.C. 2241. By Memorandum Order entered May 10, 2018, the Court directed Petitioner to pay the $5.00 filing fee within eleven (11) days of the date of entry thereof. More than eleven (11) days elapsed and Petitioner failed to pay the filing fee. Accordingly, by MemorandumOpinion and Order entered on June 26, 2018 the Court dismissed the action. Thereafter, on June 29, 2018, (ECF No. 9-1, at 1 ), Petitioner mailed the full filing fee to the Court, and the Court received _it on July 2, 2018. Because it appears that Petitioner wishes to pursue this action, theClerk is DIRECTED to open a new action and file this Memorandum Order, the 2241 Petition, and the filing fee in that action.
