Filing 2 MEMORANDUM ORDER (Directing Clerk to Mail 1983 Form). Plaintiff, a Virginia inmate proceeding pro se, has submitted a letter requesting an update on the status of a 42 U.S.C. 1983 complaint that he maintains he submitted to the Court on or around November 15, 2021, (ECF No. #1 ). The Clerk is DIRECTED to write the civil action number for the present action on the standardized form for filing a 42 U.S.C. 1983 complaint and to send the form to Plaintiff. If Plaintiff wishes to file a complaint, he should complete and return the provided form to the Court within fourteen (14) days of the date of entry hereof. If Plaintiff fails to respond within that time, the action will be dismissed without prejudice. It is so ORDERED. Signed by Magistrate Judge Elizabeth W. Hanes on 1/12/2022.
