MEMORANDUM ORDER (Denying Plaintifrs Motion to Remand) - THIS MATTER is before the Court on A.C.'s ("Plaintiff') Motion to Remand (the "Motion") filed on May 10, 2022. (Mot., ECF No. 6.) Plaintiff originally filed this action in the Circuit Court of Henrico County, Virginia on March 22, 2022. (Compl., ECF No. 1-2.) On April 28, 2022, the Henrico County School Board ("Defendant") removed the case to this Court. (Notice of Removal, ECF No. 1.) Plaintiff now argues this case should be remanded because the Court lacks subject matter jurisdiction. (Pl.'s Mem. Supp. at 3, ECF No. 7.) The Court will dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court, and oral argument will not aid in the decisional process.
