ORDER (Granting Motion for Early Discovery) - This matter comes before the Court on James A. Murphy's ("Plaintiff") Ex Parte Motion for Early Discovery (ECF No. 3). Plaintiff moves the Court to allow him to take discovery from third parties Verizon Communications, Inc., and X Corp., formerly known as Twitter, (ECF No. 4 at 1) pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 26(d)(1). ORDER (Directing Briefing on Service of Process) - This matter comes before the Court on James A. Murphy's ("Plaintiff') Complaint (ECF No. 1) against John Does 1-20 ("Defendants"). Plaintiff has sued 20 unnamed defendants but has not filed certificates of service as to these Defendants nor has Plaintiff explained how they intend to comply with the service requirements of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4. The Court hereby ORDERS that Plaintiff submit a pleading within fourteen calendar days explaining how they intend to comply with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure and then prosecute the case considering Defendants' anonymity.
