The Northwest Immigrant Rights Project has filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration on behalf of three Central American women being detained in Washington, thousands of miles from where their children are being held. The class-action lawsuit alleges that dozens of immigrants are being separated from their children and detained in Washington state and that the administration is unnecessarily prolonging their separation.
