FINDINGS OF FACT AND CONCLUSIONS OF LAW FOLLOWING COURT TRIAL signed by Magistrate Judge William E Duffin on 8/3/2018. The court finds that, due to the negligence of a United States Postal employee acting within the scope of his employment, the Plain tiff was injured in a motor vehicle accident on March 7, 2012. As a result of this accident, he suffered damages. The Plaintiff's as yet uncompensated damages consist of $9,171.58 in medical costs and $10,000 in pain and suffering. Accordingly, judgment shall be entered against the United States and in favor of the Plaintiff in the sum of $19,171.58. (cc: all counsel)(lz)
