Plaintiff's lawsuit relates to events that occurred in the Eastern District, so it appeared that plaintiff had sent his complaint to the wrong court. I informed plaintiff that I would transfer the case to the Eastern District unless he told the court by October 30 that he wanted the case to remain in the Western District.
