** TEXT ONLY ORDER **Plaintiff Brandon Scott Judge has moved to transfer this case to the Eastern District of Wisconsin. (Dkt. #26 .) Under 28 U.S.C. 1404(a), a district court may "[f]or the convenience of parties and witnesses, in the interest of justice... transfer any civil action to any other district or division where it might have been brought." And under 28 U.S.C. 1391(a) and (b), venue is proper in a district where one or more of the defendants reside or where a substantial part of events giving rise to a lawsuit occurred. Judge notes that he was incarcerated in the Eastern District at all times relevant to the events alleged in his amended complaint and that he resides in that district today. Defendants do not oppose Judge's motion. (See dkt. #28 .) Because the Eastern District would have been a proper venue for this lawsuit, and for the convenience of the parties, the motion is GRANTED.
