TEXT ONLY ORDER signed by District Judge Lynn Adelman on 11/28/23 re #7 Plaintiff's Letter Regarding the Initial Partial Filing Fee. On October 27, 2023, I ordered plaintiff to pay a $120 initial partial filing fee by November 20, 2023, or I would dismiss this case. Plaintiff has not paid the fee, but he submitted a letter saying that he still wants to proceed in this lawsuit but does not have the money to pay the fee. I will provide the plaintiff additional time to collect the money he needs to pay the $120 initial partial filing fee. If he does not pay that fee by December 19, 2023, or explain why he is unable to pay it, I will dismiss this case without prejudice. Plaintiff then could refile his lawsuit when he has enough money to pay an initial partial filing fee. (cc: all counsel and mailed to pro se party)(amh) |
