The parties filed a Notice of Pending Settlement and Request to Stay Proceedings, indicating that they have reached an agreement in principle in this case, which is part of a multi-district litigation. Dkt. No. 12. The parties say that they're in the process of preparing and finalizing a "Master Settlement Agreement" to include this case as well as the other cases in the MDL and they ask the court to stay this case until May 24, 2024 by which time they will file either dismissal documents or a report informing the court of the status of the settlement. Id. The court GRANTS the parties' motion for a stay and ORDERS that this case is ADMINISTRATIVELY CLOSED pending the filing of dismissal documents. Any party may move to reopen the case if necessary. The court ORDERS that if dismissal documents have not been filed by the end of the day on May 24, 2024, the parties must file a joint report regarding the status of the settlement. The court ORDERS that the November 29, 2023 Rule 26(f) report deadline is VACATED and the December 13, 2023 scheduling conference is REMOVED from the court's calendar.
