The plaintiff asks if his family can pay his $20.47 initial partial filing fee over the phone. He also asks for an extension of time to coordinate payment of the fee after he receives the court's response. The court FINDS that the plaintiff has shown good cause and GRANTS his motion for an extension of time. The court ORDERS that the time for the plaintiff to pay the $20.47 initial partial filing fee is EXTENDED until the end of the day on January 12, 2024.The court advises the plaintiff that his family members may pay the filing fee on his behalf. They can visit the court's website at https://www.wied.uscourts.gov/making-payments for information about the types of payment the clerk's office accepts. Any person making a payment must include the reason for the payment and pertinent information, including the case number and the name of the person for whom the payment is being made.
