TEXT ONLY ORDER signed by Chief Judge Pamela Pepper on 2/23/2024. The defendants filed a motion to dismiss and a brief in support on February 6, 2024. Dkt. Nos. 10, 11. They have filed a letter requesting a briefing schedule regarding their motion. Dkt. No.13. Under Civil Local Rule 7 (E.D. Wis.) the plaintiff's response would be due February 27, 2024, but given the fact that on February 14, 2024, the court severed this case from the plaintiff's other case (20-cv-1884), the court will allow the plaintiff a short extension of one week to file his response to the defendants' motion. The court ORDERS that the plaintiff must file a response to the defendants' motion to dismiss by the end of the day on March 5, 2024; failure to file by the deadline means the court will consider the motion as unopposed, without further input from the plaintiff. If the plaintiff files a response and the defendants choose to file a reply in support of their motion, they may do so within fourteen days of the date the plaintiff files his response.
