TEXT ONLY ORDER signed by Judge J P Stadtmueller on 5/28/2024. Upon review of #1 the Complaint in this matter, it does not appear that Plaintiff has adequately pleaded diversity jurisdiction. See Camico Mut. Ins. Co. v. Citizens Bank, 474 F.3d 989, 993 (7th Cir. 2007) ("For diversity jurisdiction purposes, the citizenship of an LLC is the citizenship of each of its members."); Thomas v. Guardsmark, LLC, 487 F.3d 531, 534 (7th Cir. 2007) (if any members of the constituent LLCs are themselves LLCs, the plaintiff must plead the citizenship of those LLCs as well). Accordingly, Plaintiff is ORDERED, within fourteen (14) days of the date of this Order, to show cause why this case should not be dismissed for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
