TEXT ONLY ORDER signed by Chief Judge Pamela Pepper on 1/22/2025 re #6 plaintiff's request for the court to issue summonses. When he filed his complaint, the plaintiff asked the court to stay this case pending the "outcome in EEOC No. 440-2024-00303x." Dkt. No. 2. On January 9, 2025, the court granted the plaintiff's motion and stayed and administratively closed this case. Dkt. No. 4 at 2. The court indicated in its order that the defendants had yet to appear in the case because the court had not screened the complaint or ordered them to respond. Id. And the court ordered the plaintiff to file a motion to reopen the case within ninety days of receiving a right-to-sue letter from the EEOC. Id. Because the case is administratively closed, the court will not order service of summonses on the defendants at this time. There is nothing further for the plaintiff to do until he receives a right-to-sue letter from the EEOC and files a motion to reopen this case. At that time the court will screen the plaintiff's complaint and, if necessary, order service. The court DENIES the plaintiff's request for the court to issue summonses.
