** TEXT ONLY ORDER **This matter is under advisement for screening as required under 28 U.S.C. 1915(e)(2), 1915A. Plaintiff has filed a motion for assistance in recruiting counsel (dkt. #7 ), which is DENIED without prejudice as premature. Plaintiff is advised that if he renews this motion, besides showing a reasonable effort to recruit an attorney on his own, he must also show that the legal and factual difficulties of this lawsuit exceed his abilities. See Pruitt v. Mote, 503 F.3d 647, 654-55 (7th Cir. 2007). It is far too soon to tell if that is the case. Plaintiff may renew this motion if the court grants him leave to proceed, provided he makes a more specific showing about why he needs an attorney to litigate this case.
