Yates requests a 21-day extension to file his response and related documents pertaining to Petitioner Richard Mansfield's Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus. The response and documents were due October 3, 2022, and his request was submitted after the filing deadline because the Government failed to assign the case to an Assistant United States Attorney. That failure does not warrant a 21-day extension, but this Court will grant a 10-day extension from the date of this Order.
