August 17, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 7 (This is a TEXT ENTRY ONLY. There is no pdf document associated with this entry.) ORDER: On July 28, 2021, I issued an Order dismissing this case without prejudice. My Order explained the legal deficiencies of Ms. Stringers Complaint and noted that I would hold the Judgment for 30 days to see whether Ms. Stringer could file an Amended Complaint that remedied the deficiencies I pointed at. While Ms. Stringer has filed an Amended Complaint, it is still legally deficient. The Amended Complaint - to the extent I can decipher its meaning - does not add anything to change the previous analysis. Accordingly, Judgment should be entered dismissing this case without prejudice. Signed by Judge Lee P. Rudofsky on 8/17/2021. (hml)
August 12, 2021 Filing 6 AMENDED COMPLAINT against Arkansas Department of Human Services filed by Daisy L Stringer. (Docketed pursuant to direction from Chambers) (jap)
July 28, 2021 Opinion or Order Filing 5 ORDER granting #1 motion to proceed in forma pauperis; and denying #3 Motion for the Appointment of Counsel without prejudice. The Complaint should be dismissed without prejudice for failing to state a claim on which relief can be granted. Before issuing the Judgment, however, I will wait 30 days from the date of this Order to see if Ms. Stringer amends her Complaint in a way that rectifies the deficiencies identified above. Signed by Judge Lee P. Rudofsky on 7/28/2021. (jbh)
