I previously carefully considered Petitioner's motion to reconsider the appointment of Jeff Rosenzweig as Petitioner's attorney due to an actual conflict of interest between Mr. Rosenzweig and Petitioner. I find his stated conflict to be without merit. Mr. Rosenzweig, is a highly accomplished lawyer and well respected member of the Arkansas Bar. He zealously advocates for his clients and, in this case, is most familiar with Petitioner's case and is the right attorney for appointment. Petitioner does not get to pick and choose his appointed counsel. Nor does he get to have the case file. Additionally, Petitioner should manage his expectations for attorney visits in a matter involving a Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus. Accordingly, Petitioner's motion is denied.
