| Filing 9 TEXT ONLY ORDER regarding [ECF No. 8] Amended Complaint filed by Christopher Bowman on February 14, 2024. By Order [ECF No. 2] entered on December 19, 2023, Plaintiff was directed to file an Amended Complaint on the Court approved section 1983 complaint form by January 18, 2024. Plaintiff was given explicit instructions on what the Amended Complaint should contain. Plaintiff failed to file his Amended Complaint.On January 24, 2024, the Court entered a Show Cause Order [ECF No. 7] giving Plaintiff until February 14, 2024, to show cause why the case should not be dismissed based on his failure to comply with the Court's Order [ECF No. 2]. On February 14, 2024, in apparent response to the Show Cause Order, Plaintiff filed what he titled an Amended Complaint [ECF No. 8]. The Amended Complaint is a single handwritten page. Plaintiff did not utilize the Court approved section 1983 complaint form. Plaintiff did not provide the information he was directed to provide.Out of an abundance of fairness, the Court will allow Plaintiff one final chance to file an Amended Complaint in compliance with the Court's directions. This means Plaintiff must submit the Second Amended Complaint on the Court's approved section 1983 complaint form. The Clerk is directed to provide Plaintiff with a section 1983 complaint form. The Clerk is also directed to provide Plaintiff with a copy of ECF No. 2 containing the Court's explicit directions about amended complaints.Plaintiff is given until March 6, 2024, to file the Second Amended Complaint.
