MINUTE ORDER: The Court observes that this case arises under the Rehabilitation Act, 29 U.S.C. 701, et seq., and that "the proper venue for litigating a Rehabilitation Act claim is determined by the special venue provisions of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, 42 U.S.C. 2000e5(f)(3)." Beaird v. Gonzales, 495 F. Supp. 2d 81, 83 n.3 (D.D.C. 2007). The Complaint, however, cites to 28 U.S.C. 1391(b) as a basis for venue. Dkt. #1 at 1. Accordingly, after Defendant has been served, Plaintiff is directed to meet and confer with counsel for Defendant regarding whether venue is proper in the District of Columbia.
