CLOSED TRANSFER - ORDER TRANSFERRING ACTION TO NORTHERN DISTRICT OF INDIANA. All the events alleged in the complaint occurred in Portage County, Indiana, and Cook County, Illinois. Two of the defendants are located in Valparaiso, Indiana, and the third defendant resides in Chicago, Illinois. Here, most of the acts that plaintiff alleges in support of his claims occurred in Porter County, Indiana, which lies in the Hammond Division of the Northern District of Indiana. 28 U.S.C. 94(a)(2). Two of the three defendants reside in that district as well. No relevant events occurred in the Southern District of Indiana, nor do any of the parties reside in this district. Based on the foregoing, the above action is now TRANSFERRED to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana at Hammond, Indiana. The filing fee for this action has not been paid and the pending motions in this case remain pending for disposition by the Northern District of Indiana.
