ORDER: This action is before the court on Plaintiff Paulette Brandon's unopposed motion to transfer the case to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. R. #10 . Plaintiff's allegations relate to employment practices that occurred while she was working for Defendant in Merrillville, Indiana, and evidence related to those practices is maintained in Indiana. Furthermore, Defendant's principal office is in Indiana. Accordingly, the Court finds that transfer to the Northern District of Indiana pursuant to 28 U.S.C. 1404 is appropriate for the convenience of the parties and witnesses and in the interest of justice. The Court therefore GRANTS Plaintiff's motion and TRANSFERS the case to the District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, Hammond Division. In light of the agreed transfer, Defendant's motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and improper venue, R. #6 , is DENIED AS MOOT. Signed by the Honorable Thomas M. Durkin on 10/8/2021.
