TELEPHONIC RULE 16 PRELIMINARY PRETRIAL CONFERENCE held on 7/18/2023, before Magistrate Judge Joshua P Kolar. Counsel for Pltf was unavailable. Dfts appeared by atty Corban Cavanaugh. The Report filed as DE #13 is ADOPTED as follows: Initial Disclosures to be exchanged by 8/18/2023. All discovery to be completed by 7/18/2024. Plaintiff expert witness disclosures and reports to be delivered to the defendant by 2/19/2024. Defendant expert witness disclosures and reports to be delivered to the plaintiff by 4/19/2024. Rule 26(e) supplements due 5/20/2024. The last date to seek leave of court to join additional parties and to amend the pleadings for Pltf is 12/18/2023; for Dfts is 1/18/2024. Parties anticipate the case should be ready for a 3 day jury trial by September 2024. Galen Bradley appointed as mediator. Results of the mediation shall be filed with the court no later than 10 days before the final pretrial conference. All other agreements of the parties concerning discovery are adopted. Parties reminded of disclosure obligations under General Order 2023-6. Court stresses importance of considering all ethical implications of using AI, including checking any cited authority.
