ORDER: Plaintiff Gregoire Charles filed this civil rights action pursuant to Section 1981 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 U.S.C. 1981, 2000e et seq., against defendant Emporio Capital Partners, LLC (d/b/a Methodist Hospitals), alleging that defendant discriminated against him on the basis of his race and sex and retaliated against him when he complained of that discrimination. Before the Court is plaintiff's agreed motion to transfer venue #7 . For the reasons explained below, the Court grants plaintiff's motion. The Clerk is directed to transfer this case forthwith to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, Hammond Division under 28 U.S.C. 1406(a). Defendant shall answer or otherwise plead by May 23, 2024. The parties shall also review all of the case management procedures and standing orders available on the transferee Court's website and fully comply with those procedures.
