Filing 6 ENTRY SCREENING COMPLAINT AND DIRECTING FURTHER PROCEEDINGS - The claims which shall proceed are the following. The Eighth Amendment failure to protect claim shall proceed against all defendants. This includes GEO Group, Inc. ("GEO"), the corporation that runs New Castle, because it allegedly had a practice or custom of understaffing and failing to timely respond to threats in the protective custody units. The state law negligence claim shall also proceed against all defendants. The First Amendment retaliation claim shall proceed against defendants Thompson and Williams. This summary of remaining claims includes all of the viable claims identified by the Court. All other claims have been dismissed. If the plaintiff believes that additional claims were alleged in the complaint, but not identified by the Court, he shall have through April 26, 2019, in which to identify those claims. The clerk is directed pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c)(3) to issue process to defendants GEO Group, Inc., Keith Butts, Thelma Nornes, Glen Thompson, Amie Williams, Mr. Latham, and Ms. Cook in the manner specified by Rule 4(d). Process shall consist of the complaint filed on February 14, 2019, (docket 1), applicable forms (Notice of Lawsuit and Request for Waiver of Service of Summons and Waiver of Service of Summons), and this Entry.
