Filing 6 ORDER GRANTING #2 MOTION TO PROCEED IN FORMA PAUPERIS, DISMISSING COMPLAINT, AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW CAUSE - Plaintiff Bradford Bouye is a prisoner currently incarcerated at Pendleton Correctional Facility. He alleges in this civil action that the defendants falsely advertised that they would review credible claims of innocence and wrongful conviction. Because the plaintiff is a "prisoner," this Court has an obligation to screen the complaint before service on the defendants. The plaintiff's motion to proceed in forma pauperis, dkt. #2 , is GRANTED to the extent that the plaintiff is assessed an initial partial filing fee of $3.33. The plaintiff's complaint must be dismissed for each of the reasons set forth above. The plaintiff shall have through May 11, 2023, in which to show cause why Judgment consistent with this Order should not issue. (See Order). Copies sent pursuant to distribution list.
