ORDER - For the reasons stated on the record in the conference of counsel held on June 5, 2020, briefing on Maine Attorney General Frey's motion to dismiss (ECF No. 12) should be completed according to the schedule set forth in D. Me. Local R. 7. A hearing on the motion to dismiss will be held within 7 days of completion of briefing. Pending the Court's decision on the motion to dismiss, the reply deadline in connection with the Plaintiffs' motion for a preliminary injunction (ECF No. 4) is stayed. If the motion to dismiss is denied, the Plaintiffs' reply brief in connection with their motion for a preliminary injunction will be due within 7 days after the date of the order denying the motion to dismiss, and a hearing on the motion for a preliminary injunction will be held within 7 days of the Court's receipt of the Plaintiffs' reply brief. As stated on the record during the conference of counsel, the Attorney General agrees to postpone enforcement of the challenged statute, P.L. 2020, ch. 657 (to be codified at 30-A M.R.S.A. 3010(1-A), (2-A)), pending the Court's decision of the motion to dismiss and motion for a preliminary injunction.
