Filing 5 ORDER denying without prejudice #3 Motion to Proceed Without Prepayment of Fees and Costs. As far as I can discern from the Plaintiff's disjointed application to proceed in forma pauperis (IFP), his monthly income exceeds his monthly expenses by a significant amount. In such circumstances, he has not shown that paying this Court's filing fee would be an undue burden, see Strange v. Juice Man, No. 1:20-cv-00466-LEW, 2021 WL 67202, at *1 (D. Me. Jan. 7, 2021), and his IFP application is DENIED. The Plaintiff is hereby ORDERED, by no later than July 28, 2022, to either prepare and file a more cogent IFP application with the assistance of his counsel or pay this Court's $402 filing fee, failing which I will recommend that this case be dismissed. By MAGISTRATE JUDGE KAREN FRINK WOLF. (MGW) |
