ORDER - Following the Court's September 21, 2022 Order on Consent Judgment, on September 27, 2022 and September 28, 2022, respectively, the Government filed a Waiver of Service (ECF No. 7) and a note of Appearance of Counsel (ECF No. 8), both signed by Attorney Daniel A. Pileggi, which resolved the Court's concerns about whether Mr. Dickey had properly been served. On September 29, 2022, the Government filed a response to the Court's September 21, 2022 order. Resp. to Order on Consent J. (ECF No. 5) (ECF No. 9). From the Court's perspective, there is one loose end. The Court still has only Mr. Dickey's signature on the Consent Judgment and the questions of the accuracy of Mr. Dickey's signature that Mr. Dickey is the person whose signature appears in the Consent Judgment, that he received and reviewed the complaint in this case, and other matters - persist. Now that he formally represents Mr. Dickey, if Attorney Pileggi confirms in writing that he has approved of the August 18, 2022 Consent Judgment on behalf of Mr. Dickey, this will satisfy the missing link between Attorney Pileggi's representation of Mr. Dickey and Mr. Dickey's consent to judgment and will satisfy the Court's discomfort with Mr. Dickey's unadorned and undated signature. The Court sua sponte grants seven days for Attorney Pileggi to file the necessary confirmation. By JUDGE JOHN A. WOODCOCK, JR. Set Deadlines: Defendant's Confirmation due by 10/7/2022.(tcs)
