January 2, 2019 Opinion or Order Filing 5 FIFTH AMENDED ORDER STAYING CASE. All current and future civil rights and/or habeas cases brought by an individual or group of individuals who has or have been civilly committed to the Minnesota Sex Offender Program that are sufficiently related to Karsjens et al. v. Piper, et al., Civil No. 11-3659 (DWF/TNL) and plaintiffs appeal to the Eighth Circuit, as determined by the Court, are hereby STAYED in all respects, pending the litigation in Karsjens, or until further order of the Court stating otherwise. The Clerk of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota is respectfully directed to file this Order in each stayed case and provide a copy of this Order, via United States mail, to every Plaintiff in all of the cases that are stayed.
