ORDER GRANTING MOTION TO TRANSFER VENUE #13 : The Court concludes that the forum-selection clause is mandatory because it dictates that proceedings shall be brought and adjudicated... in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Furthermore, the claims here fall within the scope of the forum-selection clause because they arise from an alleged breach of the quickpay agreement by J.V. and consequently are related to the quickpay agreement. Finally, J.V. has not carried its burden of showing that this is an unusual case where the Court should not grant transfer pursuant to a forum-selection clause. Accordingly, the Court grants J.V.s Motion to Transfer Venue. The Clerk of Court is directed to transfer this case to the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Order Requiring Scheduling Conference and Report for Contents of Scheduling Order. Lead counsel for each party (or a designee attorney with appropriate authority) and any unrepresented party (except for a prisoner litigant proceeding pro se) shall confer at a scheduling conference as soon as practicable, but in any event no later than August 12, 2020.
