September 6, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 22 ORDER that: (1) the agency having custody of Plaintiff forward to the Clerk of the Court monthly payments of 20 percent of the preceding month's income credited to Plaintiff's account each time the amount in the account exceeds $10.00 until the $350.00 filing fee is paid ($345.00) (2) the Clerk of the Court shall provide the parties with Mediation Request Forms; (3) the Attorney General of Missouri, Corizon, and Centurion shall notify the Court, in writing, within thirty (30) days from the date of this Order, as to whether they will or will not waive service of process on Defendant; and (4) Defendant shall answer or otherwise respond, pursuant to Fed. September 2, 2022 RECEIPT number KCMO096765 in the amount of $5.00 issued to Justin Rey. (Woods, Gloria)
September 1, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 21 ORDER that Plaintiff's motion for order (Doc. #20 ), wherein Plaintiff requests "safer housing" and two hours of "legal resources" a week, is denied. Plaintiff fails to establish that he is entitled to a preliminary injunction regarding his housing, because Plaintiff seeks a change in the relationship of the parties rather than a preservation of the status quo and cannot otherwise satisfy any of the factors for preliminary injunctive relief as set forth in Dataphase Systems, Inc. v. C.L. Systems, Inc., 640 F. 2d 109, 113 (8th Cir. 1981). Regarding his request for access to legal resources, Plaintiff admits that he is no longer "on library restriction." The Court further notes that the only deadline currently set by the Court in this case is the September 8, 2022 deadline by which Plaintiff has been ordered to pay the initial partial filing fee. In order to proceed with this case, Plaintiff must first pay the initial partial filing fee or this case will be dismissed without further notice. Signed on 9/1/2022 by District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey. This is a TEXT ONLY ENTRY. No document is attached. (Doty, Greg)

August 10, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 16 ORDER that Plaintiff's motion for an extension of time (Doc. #15 ) is granted only in that Plaintiff is granted an extension of time, up to and including September 8, 2022, in which to both pay the initial partial filing fee and file a superseding amended complaint. However, Plaintiff fails to establish that he is entitled to conduct discovery before complying with this Court's July 28, 2022 Order (Doc. #10 ). Contrary to Plaintiff's assertions, this Court has not directed Plaintiff to submit documents and evidence in support of his claims but instead has directed him to file a superseding amended complaint that sets forth sufficient allegations of fact which, accepted as true, state a cognizable claim for relief. No further extensions of this deadline will be granted absent a clear demonstration of extraordinary circumstances. Signed on 8/10/2022 by District Judge Nanette K. Laughrey. This is a TEXT ONLY ENTRY. No document is attached. (Willis, Kathy)
