ORDER. The Court recently ordered Plaintiff to show cause why this case should not be dismissed for his failure to pay the initial partial filing fee. Doc. 5. In response, Plaintiff states that he thought he had another individual pay the fee, and he alternatively requests the Court take the money from his inmate account. Doc. 6. The Court cannot take the money from Plaintiff's account, but it will give him an extension to pay the initial partial filing fee. Plaintiff shall pay his initial partial filing fee of $15.75 on or before January 31, 2024. Plaintiff should pay the fee to the Clerk of the Court of the Western District of Missouri from his prison account through the process allowed for by the prison or find a different way to pay the fee to the Clerk of the Court. Plaintiff's failure to pay the fee by this deadline will result in the Court dismissing this case under Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(b) for failure to prosecute and comply with the Court's order.
