TEXT ORDER: This matter comes before the Court upon receipt of correspondence from Plaintiff Hassan Hassani seeking a preliminary injunction and restraining order against Defendants. (ECF No. #2 .) Upon review of Plaintiff's correspondence, it appears that Plaintiff failed to comply with Local Civil Rule 65.1. That rule requires that an application for emergent relief shall not be granted "except on a clear and specific showing by affidavit, other document complying with 28 U.S.C. 1746 or verified pleading of good and sufficient reasons why a procedure other than by notice of motion is necessary." Local Civil Rule 65.1(a). Plaintiff may file an application for emergent relief that complies with the applicable rules. So Ordered by Judge Michael A. Shipp on 1/12/2021. *Mailed to Plaintiff.(gxh)
