April 14, 2022 Opinion or Order Filing 9 TEXT ORDER: The Court is in receipt of petitioner's most recent letter which includes various complaints about the conditions of his confinement including, though not limited to, staff assault, retaliation, insufficient medical treatment, false misbehavior reports, and interference with legal mail. Dkt. No. #8 . Petitioner is advised that the Court and Clerk's Office do not provide legal assistance or advice. To the extent that Petitioner seeks such assistance or advice, his request is DENIED. However, the Clerk of the Court can provide Petitioner with forms and pertinent procedural information. Petitioner is advised that concerns regarding his current conditions of confinement should be addressed through administrative channels at Gouverneur Correctional Facility and the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and, if necessary, by means of a separately filed action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. 1983. Any complaint filed pursuant to section 1983 must be accompanied by either the proper filing fee ($350.00) or an application to proceed in forma pauperis. The Clerk is directed to provide petitioner with a 42 U.S.C. section 1983 packet for his reference, and a copy of the docket sheet. SO ORDERED by Chief Judge Glenn T. Suddaby on 4/14/2022.
