Plaintiff alleged that she purchased "A Million Little Pieces" under false pretenses due to being misled by defendant James Frey and his publisher Random House, Inc. Plaintiff contended that defendant Random House had marketed and distributed the book as a book of non-fiction or as a non-fiction memoir when in fact the book was replete with fictional and concocted stories.
