TRANSFER ORDER - re #1 Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus filed by Jordan S. Henderson. Because Petitioner is incarcerated in this judicial district, his original choice of venue is not improper under 28 U.S.C. 2241(d), but that section also gives this Court the discretion to transfer the case to the United States District Court for Northern District of Ohio, the district within which the State court was held which convicted and sentenced Petitioner. Both federal courts in Ohio regularly transfer venue to the district of conviction to prevent forum shopping.
