Attorneys Jennifer Phillips and Stanley Aronson participated on behalf of plaintiff, and Attorney Ralph Streza participated, representing defendant. With respect to a possible settlement, counsel advised that the parties are currently waiting on the production of certain documents. Counsel further advised that a hearing on a motion to consolidate similar hernia mesh product cases is likely to occur by the end of July 2018. The Court encourages the parties to make efforts to acquire the documents necessary to facilitate settlement and to engage in good faith settlement discussions. If the parties have not advised the Court by 12:00 noon on June 29, 2018 that the case has settled, the Court shall issue its ruling on the pending motion to stay.
